Employee Salaries: What To Expect

Most salaries in Kenya range between £350 – £1000 per month, dependant on the seniority of the role and level of experience.

Some salaries in Kenya can be as low as the minimum wage which is 15,120 KES per month (£83 per Month) in 2023. At Optimise Outsourcing we want to create quality employment for both you and the employee that is fair for both. We would not advocate paying full-time salaries below 55,000 KES per month, which is £320 per month. This salary could be for a Customer Service Agent, Accounts Assistant, Administrative roles, etc.

When working with Optimise Outsourcing you should aim to save 60-75%, of all staffing costs with offshore staff in Nairobi Kenya, which is a huge number for your business. On a like-for-like all-in cost, this assumes you will get the same level of output and quality with only a minimal increase in friction compared to UK staffing.

Frequently Asked Questions

Upon selecting your ideal candidate and finalising the salary and start date, we will issue an invoice payable 7 days before the commencement of employment. This invoice will encompass one month’s salary, a one-month optimise management fee, an office fee (if applicable), and the recruitment fee.

Staff salaries are dispensed on the 28th of each month, with cleared payments required by the 20th. For the initial month, an invoice reflecting the pro-rata amount for days worked will be generated—for instance, if the employment begins on September 11th, payment for 20 days pro-rata covering salary, management fee, and office fee (if applicable) would be necessary.
